Redefining Bhalessa

DODA, Oct 25: The inhabitants of Bhallessa have expressed resentment over the attachment of Sub Division Bhalessa with Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC Bhaderwah) without keeping in mind the proximity of the area and demanded immediate withdrawal of the decision. Speaking on the occasion, Sadaket Malik, President Bhalessa Heritage Society said that the decision of the Government  for attaching Sub Division Gandoh with ADC Bhaderwah is unjust and need withdrawal keeping in view the proximity of Bhallessa and Thathri with District Headquarter Doda. The distance from Bhalessa to Thathri is just 30 Kilometers. There has been a strong resentment among the citizens of Bhalessa against the decision of the Government for attaching Bhallessa with ADC Bhaderwah. NSWA demanded opeining of Traffic check Posts in Bhalessa area: BHALESSA: October 10, 2013.             National Students Welfare Association (NSWA) a Doda based NGO has submitted a   memorandum to the chief Minister, Omer Abdullah in which statistics of routine accidents in Bhalessa (Doda) was highlighted and action thereof taken by the adminstraction in these routes.             NSWA has suggested opening of Traffic check posts (TCPs) in Gandoh, Kahara, Bhatyas, Donadi, Gowari, Chilly belts of Bhalessa in order to avert these tragedies in these routes.             NSWA has expressed serious concern over the routine accidents and lack of administrative intervention as there are no vigil checks on drivers in these areas of Bhalesssa. Dear Sir, We are all sick, In a democratic country like ours where we still have no provision to Right to Life owing to the increased accidents on our roads. This had become a routine and your Government has not learnt a lesson from these accidents to take herculean efforts in stemming the rot.             Apart from daily routine basis, there seemed no vigil check on our driving culture. The people thriving below the poverty line are the prey of these ill fate accidents and administration seemed sleepy. There is not even a single Traffic check post or personnel to look after the traffic chaos of Bhalessa.
